Intravenous Vitamin & Mineral Infusions

By the time than many patients finally seek natural healing they are depleted in magnesium, B-vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients. As these nutrients become depleted, the enzymes that they form become depleted. This leads to a complex situation in which the enzymes needed to absorb vitamins and minerals are deficient, which leads to even more nutrient deficiencies. And the problem here is that because of decreased absorption simply giving the patient vitamins and minerals orally often cannot correct the problem. This is where intravenous vitamin and mineral Infusions can be very helpful. It is a way to replenish depleted vitamins and minerals even when their absorption is impaired. Often patients feel better right away. The infusions are easy to administer and completely safe.

Naturopathic Therapy

Naturopathic Medicine is a medical art which originated in Germany in the early 1800’s. Originally it was called Nature Cure because it involved the use of natural agents like air, light, water, food, and herbs to stimulate and support the body’s own natural healing powers. Naturopathy was coined to describe the combination of Nature Cure and Homeopathy; along with many other “Drug-less” therapies.

Modern Naturopaths are medically trained and licensed doctors who combine the best of natural and modern science-based medicine to treat chronic disease and promote optimal wellness. Therapies like clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, hydrotherapy, homeopathy, and energy medicine, among many others.

Naturopathic Medicine is a common sense approach to healthcare with a treatment strategy focused on finding and removing the root cause of disease; along with understanding that multiple factors and systems in the body contribute to health and disease. Therefore, it makes sense to treat the whole person as an interconnected system for optimal results.

Naturopathic doctors are specialists in prevention because this is best accomplished through spending time with patients to educate them on healthy lifestyle choices that prevent disease and promote wellness. After all, the word doctor in Latin (Docere) means teacher.

Presently, 16 states have licensing laws for Naturopaths with the legal right to practice medicine as a primary care provider. In order to sit for state board exams, the candidate must have graduated from one of the five post-graduate, 4-year Naturopathic medical colleges in the United States and Canada.

PEMF Therapy

Pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (PEMF) is a reparative technique most commonly used in the treatment of areas of the body that won’t heal. This includes fractures that won’t heal as well as damaged ligaments and organs. It can also be used in cases of cancer and other illnesses such as hepatitis.

PEMF uses electrical energy to direct a series of magnetic pulses through injured tissue whereby each magnetic pulse induces a tiny electrical signal that stimulates cellular repair. Many studies have demonstrated the effectiveness of PEMF in healing soft-tissue wounds; suppressing inflammatory responses at the cell membrane level to alleviate pain, and increasing range of motion.

PEMF involves a magnetic cable that is placed over the area being treated. Pulsed waves of magnetic energy are then sent into the area through the cable. The treatments are safe, comfortable, and usually last about 30 minutes.

We often use PEMF in combination with other healing treatments such as Prolozone Therapy.

Neural Therapy

Neural Therapy is one of the most advanced and effective of all holistic healing modalities. It is quite similar to acupuncture, and involves using a very tiny needle to inject a mixture of novocaine and vitamin B12 into various points on the body. The injections are designed to remove “interference fields”.

Interference fields are traumatized areas of the body that interfere with the body’s innate healing process. We now know that many chronic disorders have one or more interference fields. These fields must be removed before the body can restore itself to health. Failure to remove these fields is the most common reason why a patient does not respond to treatment.

The following conditions usually respond nicely to neural therapy: allergies, headache, vertigo, hay fever, sinusitis, whiplash syndrome, painful scars, liver disorders, colitis, menstrual pain, endometriosis, joint and muscular rheumatism, reflex dystrophy, arthritis, all forms of neuralgia, restless leg syndrome, TMJ syndrome, and facial and jaw pain.

Herbal Therapy

Did you know that over 95% of all medications had their start as an herb? What happens is that drug companies research herbs in order to find out what ingredient is in them that causes them to be effective. Then when they find the ingredient, they change it into a drug.

But why would they want to go through all the difficulty of making a drug when they already have an herb that does the same thing? For one reason only - money. Drug companies are in business for one reason – making a profit. The problem with herbs is that they cannot be patented. But drugs can be. And patents mean money. So it is much better for them to make a drug out of an herb than to use the herb itself, even if it costs them a ton to do it.

But there is a big price to pay for this. Drugs are completely foreign to the human body, Our bodies were designed to eat plants, but they were not designed to take drugs. That’s why drugs cause so many side effects. Did you know that the third leading cause of death in the US is medications!

The other reason that herbs are so much better than drugs is that herbs contain many ingredients, not just one. Sure they have the main ingredient that has the medicinal effect, but they also have other ingredients that balance out the active ingredient to limit toxicity and side effects. How often have you heard that someone died from taking an herb? In the last ten years there have been no deaths reported form herbs. Zero. Nada. None. Compare that to the drugs that are made from the herbs.

The reason why we prefer herbs over drugs is safety. When used correctly they are often just as powerful as the drugs they replace. The good thing is that they are safe and free of side effects. Almost anything that can be accomplished with a drug can be accomplished with the right herbal mixture.
